Luke Eve

Luke Eve began his career as a freelance photographer. He graduated from the Australian FilmTelevision and Radio School in 2005 and in the same year won Tropfest with his short film Australian Summer. He was the recipient of a funded internship with This is That productions in New York City. He has directed five short films including Cockroach, a 14-minute visual effects loaded film that has gone on to screen at over 40 International Film Festivals and win over a dozen awards. In 2010 and 2011 he directed episodes of Dave in The Life and was the series director on SEX: An Unnatural History for SBS. In 2012 he was the series director of the landmark documentary series Great Southern Land for ABC and Cordell Jigsaw Productions.

The successful series landed him an ADG nomination for best direction in a documentary TV series. Luke recently created, produced and directed a high-end web series in Los Angeles called Low Life – a black comedy about depression. It has gone on to win over 12 major festival awards and has recently sold To Amazon Prime and Hulu. In between TV projects, he also directs high-end commercials and music videos and has a number of feature film projects in development.
